You've already got the most reliable CCW 9mm out there. The MK9s are having some problems shooting reloads and are little bricks in your pocket. That's why people dump them. I had a Kahr E9 and flipped it for a Glock 26.
Dimensions are only one facet of a good CCW gun. It must also be reasonabley light. Thta's why I prefer polymer pistols.
For CCW guns, it should be compact and light. If not, you may not carry it, then its just a paperweight in your gun safe and you're not safe then are you?
Anyway, the Colt Pocket 9 looks fine BUT it's trigger is as gritty as sandpaper. AND what support are you going to get from a company that's left its civilian market out in the cold? And what about parts?
BTW - The Colt Pony Pocketlite and the Pocket 9 will print even with a good holster. I tried them out with Dockers.
Anyway, I talk to many of our law enforcement training officers and reps at the companies and the ranges and the agency policies are showing that many cops are dumping their Colts for KT P-32s.
Their primary is their G17/19/22/23 with backup being a Glock 26/27 and the last ditch guns were Seecamps, Guardians, Airweights, Pocketlites, and now P-32s.
Quit your dreaming. Gaston hasn't and won't let us down. Keep your Glock 26 and be happy.
