Glock 23

My daughter has an extra Glock 23 she wants to give to me. Unfortunatley, she lives in Arizona and I live in Illinois. Does anybody know the laws on how she can send it to me?

Find a local dealer to you that will accept transfers from out of state. It also may be cheaper for your daughter to send the gun from an FFL in her state, since dealers can still send by USPS, while sending a handgun via courier such as Fedex and UPS is getting complicated and expensive for individuals.

EDIT to add: Check your local laws since there may be some restrictions especially if you live in Chicago. handgunlaw.us is a good resource.

I agree fully with shipping between two FFL entities. I don't have to tell you that the Federal, State and local governments change their laws relatively frequently so it is hard to keep up with them, even in web searches. You really really don't want some eager poe-leeceman taking you in for not knowing their laws.
