I have found the barrel for the conversion on Midway USA and am condsidering going to the 9 mm for ammo cost. Is it as easy as a barrel swap? And if so what do you do for the mag? (I'm guessing you use the Glock 19 mag but not sure if it is the same size)

As always your input is appriciated.

I did it and it work great

I did it and it work great. Dropped right in without a problem. Used a 9mm mag. Go for it. Lemmon

Slow your roll PF, Glock .40S&W barrels/slides...

Hold on a bit, PF.
The Glock 23 may need a replacement slide for the 9x19mm too.

I looked into buying a LNIB Glock 27 .40 then buying a LoneWolf Dist or KKM custom 9x19mm barrel. A few forum members stated the pistol may not work properly(feed & cycle) due to the slight difference in the .38(9mm) & .40S&W in the base of the cartridge. This minor size issue could lead to major hassles with ammunition. I was warned to not convert a Glock 27 to 9x19mm then use it for duty or home protection.
