I don't have a good story for my Glock 23. My copy of the 23 has a bad habit of breaking extractors. The first breakage, at around 2500 rounds caused the gun to malfunction terribly. The second breakage, about 500 runds later, was a small chip on the lower edge of the claw and it would fail about once in 25 to 50 rounds. But two breakages in around 2500 rounds doesn't inspire me and the gun only performs range duty now. I will say that when the extractors are in one piece the gun functions flawlessly. I have over 500 rounds since the last breakage with zero malfunctions.
