What do you use or recommend for the range and for self defense? If you got links to anywhere that has a good deal post them too please.

Thanks

1. For target shooting, hard to beat CCI Blazer ammo from Natchez Shooters Supplies (natchezss.com). These are NOT reloadable, but at this price, why bother ??

* 180 Grain = $6.60/box of 50
* 165 Grain = $6.95/box of 50

2. For self defense, Natchez also has CCI/Speer Gold Dots for $10.00/box of 20 (in 155, 165 or 180 grain bullets). These are pretty highly rated by lots of folks.

Natchez also sells other brands such as Federal Hydra Shok and Winchester. Not sure about Cor Bon, but I'm pretty sure they don't sell Remington ammo (so no Golden Sabres).

Stay safe,

CCI Blazer is aluminum cased. That's why it is cheap, and also why it's non-reloadable. Accurate stuff from what I hear. I don't use it because I roll my own.

I've had good results at the range with Georgia Arms 180gr JHPs. For defense I carry Remington 155gr JHPs or Winchester 180gr SXTs. Had good expecience with 9mm ProLoads, and plan to check them out in my G23 in the near future.
