I don't like the 3.5# trigger personally (feels too mushy for my taste) but many people say it helps their shooting. Regardless it only matters whether YOU like it or not. It would not be hard or expensive to change out with a standard unit if you don't fall in love with it.
Gripes towards the pistol I've heard: Can't shoot lead in it, trigger takes a little work to get used too, It's not a target pistol (It wasn't designed for the same thing as a Hamerilli anyway).
Our highway patrol and a lot of the police around here use the G-22 and I've never heard anyone really complaing about it (FBI also issues it along with the 23 BTW). One tip I was given was that the wrap around grips really improved a lot of policemens shooting with the Glock. Once again I like mine stock, but thats just me. Chief Deputy of one county I work in carries a 22C and loves it. Some will say the porting destoys night vision but he's tried it out in the dark and said there was no real difference between it and the regular 22. I think Glock uses a very high flash powder to take pictures of the "C" models for ad's just for drama and to show people how the porting works. Which leads people to expect something just short of a fireworks display when fired at night.
There is also a school of thought that the C versions may burn you if your ever forced to fire from an ackward position such as someone on top of you. I'd think if 300 pound Bubba biker is on top of you trying to smash your face in with a crowbar a few powder burns would be of no real interest to you
Prices vary widely with location. Really also need to know if it was NIB (that would have been a very very good deal in my area) used third genration(finger grooves) or second generation gun and whether it came with any 15 round mags or not.
In short, good choice bet it serves you well.
