Hey all,
I'm fairly new to the gun world, and am learning massive amounts of information every day. I have a Taurus pt-99, and a Glock 22. They sure do make an odd couple, as they have totally different personalities, but I am getting used to that.
I have followed (at least I think I did) the instructions for cleaning and lubing the Glock. But when I am testing the slide action, especially when chambering a round, it slides a little rough. It only feels a little rough when I move the slide slowly, trying to feel where all the contact friction is coming from. Although, normally I would pull and let the slide release under the spring pressure, I am mildly concerned if it is lubed properly.
Am I just paranoid? or is this normal?
