Glock 22 Gen 4, Trigger Safety "Pinch"

So, I've owned a G22 for a while and I keep it as an alternative to my 9mm pistols. I really don't shoot it too much but I decided to take it out the other day and run a few boxes of ammo thru it. After the first box, I started noticing the trigger safety (paddle) started bothering the tip of my finger. But by the end of the second box, it was really bad.

This gun has never malfunctioned and this is really the only negative I've found so far. Other than changing platforms to a different 40 (i.e. M&P40), is there another option for a more comfy trigger? I'm not recoil sensitive but this trigger is bothersome!

P.S - I once owned an M&P40 full size and remember liking it but traded it for this G22 to maintain changeability with my other Glock holsters and accessories. Perhaps a switch back is in order if all else fails?

You'll build up a little bit of a callous on your trigger finger if you keep shooting that 22. My trigger finger is still a little sensitive after I shot 200 rds. through my 17 this past Friday.

Apex and Zev industries both (and prob others) make replacement triggers that have a much flatter face and eliminate the trigger safety pinch you are experiencing.
