would the factory barrell be suitable for firing the 45 super in limited use situations? I understand the case is thicker but can a factory glock 21 handle a few test fires through it and maybe be reliable for defense without changing the barrell.
The best way to get an answer to this question is to call Glock directly and ask them. They are the ones who have a say on your warranty if something should happen using ammo not specific to the weapon.
In the past, HK has refused to honor the warranty on the USP's that had cracked frames from using the .45 Super round.
