Glock 20 vs 29

I am thinking of getting a 10mm. It would fill a gap as a light "woods" gun (nothing bigger than a occasional black bear in my woods). This would not be for hunting.
I am leaning towards the 29 due to it being smaller and easier to conceal. Besides, since I live in California I can't get standard mags for the 20 (I dislike getting a gun with netuered mags). Is there a big loss in power and velocity due to the shorter barrel?

I have shot the 30 and loved it. How does the 29 compare to the 30?

Thanks

I have a 20.
I would rather share a bathroom with my mother in law for a week, than my pants with a Glock 20 for a week.

It is just too big for me to carry concealed.

In an open carry hip holster, it would be ok.

I don't believe that the 29 is much lighter than the 20, unless there are 15 rounds in the 20.

You can expect about a 100fps loss from the 29.
