Glock 20 is sweet!

Just wanted to take a little time to tell everyone of my first experience with the 10mm. I purchased a new G20 with adjustable sights for 491.00 last week. I stayed away from the 10mm for a long time due to concerns with gun durability. Always was interested, just never took the plunge. Well, I took the plunge and am so glad I did! What a sweet shooter. I only ran some UMC 180 grain loads through it so far, but recoil was very mild and it has to be one of, if not the most accurate handguns I own. I got ragged one hole (1.5" or so) groups at 15 yards w/ 10 rounds offhand. I only wish ammo was easier to come by at a fair price. I am thinking of buying a large quantity of Georgia Arms' 10mm practice loads, along with some "shear power plus" Gold dot hollowpoints. Since I really don't want to reload, I figured this is the least expensive way to enjoy the 10mm.

Welcome to the fold. Liked my glock 20 so much, I bought a second. Just get used to hearing "dont you mean 9mm" at the range.

Oh yea, If you want some excellent defence rounds I have 3, 50 round boxes of the discontinued Cor-Bon 180gr JHP (1300FPS 676ft/lbs) left.
E-mail me If you want some, I'll make you a "new convert" deal.

w00-h00 congrats Popsicle!

I am jealous though, cause I am having to practice patience and wait to get me a Glock 20.

$491.00 that is heckuva good price with adjustable sights. The lowest I have seen round these parts is $554 for that gun. Too bad shipping and FFL fees would eat up the difference, I hate knowing something can be priced lower.

Happy Shooting!

Tell me about it DaHaMac, I payed $460 for my first Glock 20 w/ factory fixed sights 2 years ago and just payed $625 for my new 3rd gen with night sites.
You got a he!! of a deal.

For $500 for a nice reloading setup, you can roll your own for $4-$5 a box with all the best components for accuracy most will never achieve.

Roll your own!

I paid $509. for mine NIB several months ago. Try ammoman.com for decent prices on Blazer 200gr FMJ range ammo. I carry Win 175gr Silvertips.
