What is best? I have never used anything other than leather. Are the new plastic pancakes allright? Which one(s) work the best?

Glock 19 holster?

Glock 19 Holster
Spade, I carry Glock 19 and I use a simple cheap Uncle Mikes holster with the extra mag pouch built onto the holster. My preferance is to carry it inside my pants the small of my back. Cost is cheap, been carrying it this way for 3 years, and holster still looks new.

I EDC my Glock 19 in a OWB K&D Holster Eagle Defender. A hand made high quality leather holster for $55 is hard to beat. If I'm just going to the range or to a class I use a Blade-Tech OWB holster. I prefer the leather for extended carrying and find it is more comfortable to sit and walk around.

I like my Bianchi mdl 82 Carry Lok its leather and has GREAT RETENTION... somthing some people dont think about. If i need a quick holster i use my Blackhawk Indutries Serpa Level 1 paddle holster... it conceals nice too, not bad for a plastic... it comes with a belt slide if you like it. the serpa holsters come in level 1-3 retention... if you cary you want to make sure your weapon stays with you... cheaper is NOT better in some cases.
