Glcok match barrels, worth it?

Hey guys

another refugee from the 1911 forum closing lol. Hoping you guys can help me with a Glock problem though. I absolutely love my Glocks and always have, reliabilty has always been there for me in any condition. The only problem I have is a little issue with accuracy. They are definitely combat accurate, all in the head of a B27 at 15 and 25 yards, but I would really like to tighten the groups up some, as long as reliability it not affected. I have seen many different barrels marketed by different companies but here is the question. Does it make a noticeable difference? Did you guys see a marked and definite improvement over point of aim accuracy? I have no problem spending the money if it works, I just dont want to spend the money and have it not make a difference then have to try to sell a slightly used match barrel. Thanks in advance for the help guys, it is definitely appreciated.

p.s. If they are worthwhile, any recomendations?

I put a Bar-Sto barrel in my Glock 22 primarily to shoot lead bullets for IPSC.
I only noticed maybe a small accuracy improvement, but as you mentioned, it was already plenty accurate. I've never tried a back to back test from a rest. After fitting (easy) and a slight polishing of the ramp, it has been 100% reliable. The chamber is noticeably tighter and it's easier on brass. The interior finish is very smooth making it easy to clean.
I've been very happy with the barrel, but one-hole accuracy wasn't my primary objective with this gun.

The best Glock shooter I know - IDPA Master - says the stock barrel is plenty accurate and is better located than it appears. My old G17 is as accurate as I can hold it and has been very accurate in the hands of better shots who are not as dependent on a crisp trigger as I am.

On the other hand, if you feel you need better accuracy and can tell a difference of maybe an inch at 25 yards, get a new barrel. And put good ammo in it; I see no point to shooting econo-ball in a match barrel and expecting great accuracy. Some say it will, but I haven't seen it.
