I'm looking for ANY information anyone has on the Gillespie Rifles manufactured in the late 18th early 19th century.
They were manufactured in North Carolina by William Gillespie.
I am a descendant of William, so this is something very interesting to me.
Any info is appreciated, especially any info on where I might be able to find one.
These came to my attention from an old newspaper article, I can post that if anyone is interested.
