Gibbs Jungle Carbine

I just saw an ad in the latest Guns and Ammo magazine for the Gibbs Rifle Company advertising two interesting rifles. One was their #5 Jungle Carbine in .303 British and the second was their #7 in .308 Winchester. Both looked teriffic and both seem to be good candidates for a scout type rifle. Anyone own either one of these? I'd love to get a review on either but especially the #7. I own a .308 Win rifle and am curious how the .303 British compares to the .308 Win.

Thanks for the heads up. I guess I should look before I leap or maybe I should say type. Good post and good responses too to that post you all pointed me to. Wolf, I sure hope you post a range report after you get back from the range. Thanks again.
