Ghostring Sights

I just bought a new Benelli Nova with the ghost ring sights. My only previous shotgun was a Mossy with a bead. How do I use these sights? Does the front bead center in the ring, on the bottom, or what? I'd like to know before I take it out next weekend.

Centers in the ring. The eye is very good at lining up circles within circles. Just put the front sight in the center and blast away. You'll find Ghost Rings simple , fast, and natural to use.

BTW...
Great choice.

who made em?

pmbiker, who made the ghost rings for your Benelli? If you look at them, you should see the manufacture's name. Thanks, Sam

Looking at my Nova, it says LPA.... there is a company that imports these sights, but I'll have to post the link later.

I also own a Nova w/ ghost ring sights. I recently added a Benelli mag extension, buttcuff, and sling. I love the sights, especially for use with slugs. I shoot with both eyes open and focus on the front sight. As was stated earlier, the eye will naturally center itself in the ghost ring, so the sight alignment is automatic. My Benelli is very accurate with slugs and throws nice, tight buckshot patterns. It's easy to hit empty refrigerant jugs at 100 yds. offhand with the slugs. The quality of the LPA sights is first rate also, in my opinion. Very rugged.

I have ghost rings on my M1 Super 90 and theyr'e great. Just got a pair of nights put on them, but don't know who makes the inserts.

Sights on my Nova are mfd. by LPA also. I got to shoot it this weekend, sweet. I really like the sights, very natural to aim.
On another topic, I tried to tighten the forend a little with the allen head screws on either side. Apparently the slop is necessary 'cause when tightened, the action wouldn't cycle completely. I loosened them up and everything worked ok. I guess that's something I'll live with.

later.
