Ghost Loading an 870 Clone, Dominion Arms Grizzly

After a nice breakfast and father's day nap I decided to got the reloading room and start a video I've been thinking about. Ghost loading and then test the reliability with my 870 clone. Part one is up guy. It was raining so Part 2 "the science" will be 5-10 ghost loads and the reliability of the "Ghost Load".

Thanks for the info.
Ghost loading never seemed like it was really worth doing, though.
With practice, quick loading a round or three works every time.
Look forward to the live shoot video.

That'll probably only work on a modern 870 with the flex-tab kit.

Having had a few of the classic "round slips past the shell stop" jams in an 870, it's not something i'd want.

I liked watching the video and agree with its maker that ghost loading is probably not a good idea. I would rather have a reliable 870 with one less round than one that could jamb everything.

Going out tonight and give this a try. Someone with a flex tab can try this and let us know how it goes but I got a feeling its better to load the extra round from the side saddle.
