GG&G Bipod

A guy on Craigslist has a GG&G bipod, of the swivel variety, listed for $50. New, they go for around $175.

Is the GG&G bipod any good? I haven't found any bad reviews, but then again, I haven't found many reviews.

The thing looks like it could hold a SAW, if not something heavier.

Primary use would be on my AR-15, maybe on my M1A.
 
They are built solid, I've been using one for about five years. $50 sounds like a steal if it is not busted.
