Getting first hunting liscence

Sirs and ma'ams,
What states hunting liscences do you recommend (as in which State, and what animals) for a guy who lives in the Maryland/Washington,DC/Northern VA area?
And, how do i go about getting them?
Can I do it online?

:) I don't know about wich state has the best hunting. Check out the fish and game dept. for those states and you should be able to get licences,tags and info on the internet.

Hope you find what your looking for and have a succesfull hunt.

1. PLENTY OF SMALL GAME.
2. WAY TOO MANY DEER.
3. YOU CAN STILL FIND PLACES TO HUNT, ASK NICE, TAKE A WRITTEN HOLD HARMLESS TO GIVE THE LANDOWNER, NOT REQUIRED, BUT I HAVE FOUND IT TO WORK OVER THE YEARS.
4. SINCE MARYLAND IS NEXT DOOR, YOU CAN GET TO GOOD HUNTING AREAS IN A COUPLE OF HOURS FROM ANYWHERE IN YOUR STATE.
