Dead Aim

Yo whats up. I just got a new rifle, Savage 110, not the best but its ok. Bottom line i got no one to help me out but i have a question about rifle ranges. When you go should i bring my own targets and a stapler or something to clip up targets. Do most trap shooting clubs have a rifle range, because there are so many near me i dont know if they have it or not. How much would it cost on average for a day pass or season pass, if they have them, and are they open or would it be weird to go out with snow on the ground.

Most Trap ranges DO NOT have rifle ranges - but some do...
Its always a good idea to bring all your own supplies for a range trip.
Make a range back that includes lens cloths, cleaning kit, a sand bag, goggle, some disposable hearing protectors, shooting gloves and glasses, stapler and tape, a roll of targets...
Be self sufficient and dont expect ranges to provided these things for you. If a range does - thats nice - but dont expect it.

Do-it-yourself rifle range

1. sharpened 1x2 lumber about five feet long

2. stapler

3. paper plates.

Insert sharp end of 1x2 into ground. Staple paper plates along sides. Be sure of your backstop (it should be non-killable).
