Hi all, If you havent done so already get your wife an NRA membvership. I have been sending them money every now and then and duh. I said to myself, just send a membership for my wife!! You get another magazione coming to the house and you increase their numbers by one!
 
My Texas red-head is already a member of NRA and TSRA.

And yes, we NEED more women to get involved.

Also, I give them as gifts in many cases.
1. When you forget, just pick up the phone, charge the membership and say it's on the way.
2. Also great for the people who keep putting it off.
3. And better yet is to give it to a raging liberal so their name is on the list with ours.

I think it's better than sending in money to the NRA and many of the guys I've signed up over the years have stayed members.

I also have a few "fence sitting" friends who could use a membership. I think this will be my donation method of choice from now on.

When my kids were about mid-teens I gave them Junior Life Memberships. This was about 15 years ago and if I remember they were about $150. Probably about double now. Real bargin I thought.

Finally, got the wife a 3 year membership last month. One life member in the family is enough.

Back last spring, when Rosie had her little tantrum with Tom Selleck, my wife asked me to get her a life membership.

She has never even fired a gun before in her life, other than a BB gun, and still hasn't. She asked me to show her the workings of the various types of guns. (SA revolver, DA revolver, SA auto, DA auto, bolt gun, pump gun, and semi-auto rifle. Sorry, I don't have any lever guns -- yet! ;) )

She wanted to get involved when it was clearly demonstrated to her by Rosie's actions that the antis are messing with our Rights! They run on pure emotion and total disregard for the true FACTS. Anyway, after doing a little on-line research on her own, she became a gun rights crusader. We went to DC for the SAS ( www.sas-aim.org ) rally to counter-demonstrate against the Million Moms.

She really digs in for a good fight!

Dangus, last year Rosie O'Donnel had Tom Selleck on her day time talk show presumably to discuss a soon to be released movie of his. Instead, knowing he is a strong second amendment proponent, she blindsided him with more of her hysterical politcal anti-gun/constitution/self defense rhetoric. Tom responded in a very collected, articulate manner. His response served only to highten her own ire causing her to further embarrass herself on public television.

First I gotta find a wife! Where does one meet nice women these days besides churches? I'm not religious and will not commit the hypocracy of pretending to be in order to meet women! Nor, am I a bar-goer, and I'd appreciate it if someone would give me a third option.
