Hey everybody, this is my first post here.

I'm on the market for a 9mm for carry, and have been looking at the CZ 75 COMPACT. I'd like to shoot one, but no one I know has one.

Anybody know of a range in the Atlanta area with any of the CZ 75 models?

A few months back, I ran across a NIB CZ 75D PCR in a local pawn shop. They had ordered it for a guy that never came back to get it. They let me walk out the door with the lil CZ for $300.

I have two Browning HP, the only other 9mm guns I own. I rank this little CZ up there with the Brownings now. It is accurate, indestructable, reliable, and just plain fun to shoot.

I know there are hicap mags available that will fit the compacts, but I am just sticking with the 10 rounders.

You cannot go wrong with one of these.
 
I haven't seen any for rent in local Atlanta ranges. As a matter of fact, the rental choises around here seem kind of plain vanilla. Makes sense, but not very helpful.
 
I don't have a CZ75 Compact but I do have a CZ75B that you are welcome to try if you want to join me as my guest at South River Gun Club in Covington sometime. If you are looking to purchase check out The CZ Connection. They have ads on gunbroker.com and are located near Atlanta.
 
Don't know any ranges near Atlanta (I'll have to ask an aunt who lives there). But this much I can tell you: The CZ-75 PCR is a sweet little gun. One of my three current CCWs.

You won't regret it if you get one.
 
Ha. Wait'll you see the place; it's barely a store, let alone a range. Good prices, tho, and Phil is a pretty good guy to deal with.
 
Bullseye range and gun shop in Lawrenceville, GA (down 316, about 20-25 min. north of Atlanta) may have a CZ-75. They have the best selection of rental guns that I've seen in the Atlanta area. They generally have a good selection of other stuff as well. Might want to give them a try.
 
Another vote for the CZ-75 PCR. I use it for CCW along with an HK P7M8, BHP, and a Walther P-5. so you know its in good company. I won't carry anything I'm not 100% sure about no matter the price.
 
Doh!

Well, I called Bull's Eye, and they don't have any CZ's to rent. So I guess I'm back to looking for someone who'll let me shoot theirs.

I bought the last PCR that Phil at CZ connection had, and I live about 1 mile from his store. You are welcome to meet me at the store some evening or weekend and we can go to the nearby indoor range and try out my PCR :)

I think I found my gun

Well, Rusty Jr. and I met up and he let me shoot his CZ. Wow, what a gun. The thing felt like butter in my hand. Now it's just a matter of saving up the money.
