GeorgiaCarry.org Prohibited From Carry at Convention

The advocacy group GeorgiaCarry.org had made plans to hold their annual conference at Calloway Gardens located in Pine Mountain, GA. During the planning stages Calloway representatives assured them firearms would be permitted and even allowed the agreement to be modified to indicate it.

However, after the event had been planned and announced representatives of Calloway told them they could not carry firearms. It appears that their attorneys advised them not to honor the agreement and found a loophole that allowed them to get out of it. Turns out the fact that Callaway allowed the agreement to be modified to stipulate that firearms would be permitted was then used against the group as a representative stated, “In addition, GeorgiaCarry.org’s amendment to our contract voided any tentative agreement”.

Anyway, in the overall scheme of things this is not that big of a deal, but just one more poke at law abiding citizens.
