A couple of us GFL holders over at packing.org have gotten fed up with being looked over in the general assembly every year by the whiney democrats. Georgia has some of the most lax firearms laws in the country with the exception of the dreaded "public gathering" law. Did you know that back in 1995 the legislature even considered a "Vermont style" carry and a total elimination of the "public gathering" law? But as you guessed it the dems whined about it and it got shot down.
We have decided to band together and form a version of the V.C.D.L. that the state of Virginia has so successfuly enjoyed. A fellow by the name of "Bikeguy" started a grassroots organization a few years a go by the name of F.L.A.G, but discontinued it because of lack of interest. Georgia is in depserate need of a grassroots CCW organization and what we lack is numbers. Our voice needs to be heard by those in the legislature. We have many pro 2nd amendment legislators, but not enough. We need to get the word out to the fence sitters our position and the position we would like them to take.
I know there are many GA residents here on TFL, even more so than on packing.org. So I am calling out to all able bodied men and women who are
willing to take up arms with us few to start or re-start a grassroots CCW organization in GA. It worked in Virginia and it can work in GA.
