Georgia Ammo, good or not so good?

Stumbled across Georgia Ammo’s web page the other day. They have ammo in stock at reasonable prices, so my question is do any of you have any experience with this company and their ammo, either good or bad? Any opinions would be appreciated.

I've used them a lot for cowboy action shooting ammo and for .40 target ammo. Seemed to be pretty good stuff overall.

I bought 500 rounds of their "Canned Heat" in 357sig. It seems to be of acceptable quality though the velocity standard deviation was a little extreme.

You mean Georgia Arms? I've had very good results with their .357 Mag ammo (new). I haven't chrono'd them or printed to paper, but my offhand plinking thus far seem to indicate they are right there with fine commercial ammo. Clean too. They of course always have a large stand at local GA gunshows and an impressive variety of loads.

Bought from .308 from them recently, but haven't been able to try it yet.

Georgia Arms is my main supplier for everything, except 22lr.

If you can find a gun show they are at, then that's the best deal. I also discovered recently you can place an order before a show they are going to be at and they will send and set aside that order for you.

Did kind of cause a ruckus when they pulled that 500 rounds of .380 out from under the table though.

I bought some of their newly manufactured Gold Dots in .38 spl., .45 acp, and .357 magnum maybe 3 years years ago. It is good ammo and I still have a bit in reserve. I've never tried their re-manufactured ammo but have heard good things about it.

I've shot about 500rds of their .45acp reloads without any failures, fairly clean and as accurate as any range/practice ammo. I will buy more when I run out. Waiting for .45acp canned heat to be available again.

I have limited experience with their ammo. I just recently ordered some 41 mag wadcutter ammo from them. I suspect it is about the same as the cowboy ammo in 41 that they have sold in the past, but I will have to see. I would not hestitate to buy their ammo in any caliber they load.

I have bought plenty of ammo from them over the years, .357, 9mm, 30-06, .40 from Canned Heat to their self defense ammo using Gold Dots.

All have performed without any issues.

I do see they now use Unicore Hollow points... isn't that the same as Gold Dots? I seem to remember the GD having a bonded Unicore structure.
