Last week I bought a new Taurus Total Titanium 38 special snubnose. This is my first revolver.
I have noticed that the front side of the cylinder is beginning to get scratched. This happens when the cylinder is opened and closed for reloading/inspection. The front side of the cylinder is making light contact where the cylinder meets the barrel as the cylinder is closed. Once the cylinder is closed and locked it doesn't scrape the barrel. It only scrapes as it is opened and closed.
Anyways, is this normal for revolvers? Should the cylinder touch the barrel as the cylinder as the cylinder is unlocked and opened/closed?
Thanks
