Take a look at the Drudge Report. They show pictures of young Elian as he is carried out of the house by the Fed's. They are posted side by side with the pictures from the alledged reunion at Andrews AFB. Interesting hair growth by that kid.
Could the pictures been faked??

Well, I don't trust the Clinton administration a bit, but, I've got to be honest - if that boy's hair has 'grown', it is not obvious to me. He does appear more pale in the 'reunion' shot than he does from the stills this morning.

Anyone else? Am I blind or what?

Yes, the sides seem fuller in the "after" picture, somewhat shaved in the "before" picture.

Must be using some serious Rogaine for that kind of growth within 24 hours.

It's hard to verify the tooth thing. Can't really see his bottom row in the "after" shots.

Now I'm no barber but what strikes me the most is that in pic 1 he has a STRAIGHT fringe & in pic 2 a CURVED fringe???

Odd at the very least....

It's wrong.

Sure, the kid has a father who's unwilling to become an American. Unfortunately, children don't have any legal power to determine their own fate, even in our nation. However, the federales should have stayed out of this matter instead of overrunning Florida state jurisdiction. Obviously, the mother wanted the boy to be a citizen; she died getting him here. A 5:00 a.m. raid was uncalled for and definitely bad press (is there ever any good press during this administration?). We give foreingers with questionable backgrounds more consideration than we've given a little boy and sit on our hands when foreign diplomats break our laws. Forgive the rant, please. I've been of two minds on this matter, but as soon as the government got involved, it became the biggest clusterf*ck of late.

I have a problem with shadows and light blooms, angles seem a little off. Also seems to be a trace of long hair trailing down from the kid's left eye in the after pic. Like maby after head was cut n pasted from older photo when he was held by a long haired female. Possible photos were part of a press kit made up prior to the arrival at Andrews and the JBTs were too busy to check em for accuracy before giving em to the press.
Just speculation on my part, resolution not good enough to do proper comparison.

This morning at the interview with the Miami family the female cousin pointed out the same thing, saying that she had just cut his hair a couple of days ago.
 
And what do you expect the whinnying cousin to say?

A Florida court decided that the matter didn't belong in a Florida Family Court.

Enough already. Kids in the inner city have guns pointed at them all the time when police execute high risk raids. It's always sad but the Marshal isn't pointing at Elian. Look with care, finger off the trigger and gun's muzzle to the side.

When was the last time Elian and his baby half-brother were together, and how big was the baby then?

Think, people.

Elian has been in this country for how long?

Five months.

If baby half-brother is in the region of six months old, then he was one month old the last time he and Elian could have their pictures taken together.

Does the kid in the photo look like he's a month old?

Think.

The photo was taken by an AP photographer who was in the house at the time. Why was a photog in the house at the time? Maybe because they were expecting something like this?

Shoulda happened weeks ago, I say.
