Geaorge Hill, are we on this weekend?

I tried doing a search for info about the Utah TFL chapter March meeting. I couldn't find the thread. Are we meeting? Where? How do I get there? My wife and I have tentative plans to be there.

Those who carried materials did their work with one hand and held a weapon in the other, and each of the builders wore his sword at his side as he worked.

Check under range reports, the get together got cancelled. George is going fishing. Cacea is broke, its my anniversary, so pretty much didn't work out this month.

Sorry guys - things came up and a fishing hole needed some attention and a million other things...

We need to plan another session.
The PMAA range is the best option north of Springville... 5 bucks for as long as you want. Cant beat that. Anyways... Lets look at a date in April - mid to late April - 22nd maybe? Give us plenty of time to stockpile ammo and stuff.

Lee Kay is off of Hwy 201 (2100 South) just west of 5600 West, out by the SL county landfill. $2.00 gets you unlimited time. Or bulk tickets can be bought for even less. Several different ranges. Volunteer range officers. Trap and skeet also.

Do you really mean to say that you're unfamiliar with the place? But your earlier post about another range with prices of $5--which couldn't be beat--causes me to believe you.

I guess since we're such newbies, if *we've* heard of a place, we assume everyone else has, also. False assumption.

I took a hunter safety course at Lee Kay last summer. If you want more info or directions, just ask. I like Lee Kay, but I've never been to any other range, so I don't have any idea how it compares. -- Denise

There is also the Holiday Gun Club or something like that that only charges 2.50...
IMO your breaking a fiver anyway = what s the diff? I like the PMAA range - they are pretty flexable and will let you fire just about anything short of tracers and flame throwers. Shotguns are not allowed except using slugs - the waddings make a mess.

No - I'm not that familier with Utah even if I been here over a year and did the college thing in Provo...

When looking for a potential range for a good TFL get together - what I want is a place that will let us bring to bare any thing we have, give us a wide birth and general run of the place. Of course - thats my requirements for everything... :D

Rangemasters was great - unforunately we got flooded and other groups wanted the rifle lane as we... So be it.

This time I am wanting to have some more stuff there. Here is what I would like to see happen:
1. More TFL Members
2. More Guests.
3. Food.
4. More Good Food.
5. More Guns.
I would like to get a big group together so we can have a big time blast.
oh - #6... A dang Camera! I want photos!

The range in Logan is cool. $2.00 all day. Indoor 50 foot .22 range, 25, 50, 100 yard outdoor range. Volunteer RO's. They are all pretty cool.

I'm going this Saturday with a bunch of friends, all of you Utah TFLers should carpool up here. (That would be interesting to get pulled over by UHP, 6 people in a minivan with about 30 guns :) ).

I posted about this on the March Utah get together thread, so if any of you guys are interested for this Sat. Let me know, and we can organize some eating or something. Thanks.

LOL! :) :) :)

I couldn't make it that far away with a nursing baby's schedule to work with. -- Denise

Oh yea, baby constraints, hadn't thought of that. Well at least I won't have to worry about that until June. :) (Its a girl!)

Still on for Sat. Just let me know if anybody wants to come and I will give directions.

George, you did the college thing in Provo? Do you mean...Shudder... The Y? Well I can't really hold it against you, they always beat the crud out of us at football, its just a USU pride thing.

BYU for Military Science, and UVSC for Business. So yeah - both... :D
I liked the ROTC Progam they had there and the Captain in Charge was a guy a knew... Was on the Ranger team there too - Good bunch of guys.
What Sucked was going from one class to the other... Try walking into any given liberal oriented class in full battle dress, including a fully packed ruck sack still trying to wipe camo off your face!
:D
They hated me in that class!
