In the pic of the doubles the second from top is an Elsie made in 1909. It has a homemade forearm in that pic. I have since found an original splinter forearm that looks much better. Now if I could just find an original stock reasonably priced(cheap).
Quick question. Does anyone make a (SASS legal) lever rifle with a more "pistol-style" gripped stock like you see on some Marlin 1895's or stoeger Coach Guns, BUT in .38/.357?
I find the straighter "English" stock awkward by comparision.
