Recently purchased a Garmin 76S and am in the process of learning how to use all the various features. Any other 76S users on the forum? Can't seem to figure out how to set up and use the "Dist to next" and "Dist to Destination" options. Do I need to set up a route with waypoints first? Help would be appreciated.
 
I have a Garmin Etrex.. The 'Distance to Next" works if you have a route or a track that you are following - it tells you how far you are from the next waypoint/turn. The Distance to Destination is how far you are from the final destination.
