Garand Question

Art, to tell you the truth I don't see very many with parts breakage. The ones I get are normally for accuracy work. There is a web site totally dedicated to the Garand at www.jouster.com. These guys collect and shoot them all the time. They would know much better than I what to include in your kit. George

Art, the three parts that I have included in my spares kit (from observation of those most vulnerable to wear or damage during my Ordnance Corps days) are:
1 Operating rod spring.
2. Gas cylinder lock screw.
3. Safety lever.
And, don't forget a tube of Lubriplate grease for use during foul weather.
