Garage sale find..verona sx405-12.*** UPDATE***

went snooping today and spied a very nice conditon verona sx405-12 for a hundered bucks, thought the name had a good ring to it so bought it.
Just like everyone else,I'll ask after the fact...
Did I do okay?
The gun is almost pristine, and I see it online new and used vor 300.00 to 349.00 so I don't think I got killed on it even if it should need a little tlc.

Gun appears to be Turkish, and was imported by ECC, of boulder city,NV.
Shoots great, even with my wimpy 'cowboy' relaods. No ftf's or anything.
OH,it does go thru shells in a hurry though. :)

The Verona shotguns were mostly made by F.A.I.R. ( I. Rizzini) this is part of the Rizzini family some of whom make incredable guns. I own a Verona LX692G as a 2 barrel set up. It is 28 and 410. I find the fit and finish to be on a par with any of my Brownings and I have only shot less than 1,000 rounds through it so far, but I am well pleased with the gun.

The SX-405 if I remember correctly is made by Sarsilmaz in Turkey, not F.A.I.R., but was imported by BC Sports under the same Verona brand. It should be a copy of a Franchi shotgun (the 612?).
