Just curious, anyone who lives near the Beltway hear anything further about the perps who did this.

I've heard of Klintons intention to get all the guns in DC. Presunably by a buy-back, nark-a-neighbor plan.

After a week has passed, surely there has been some development in that case.

This cannot be true . In case no one has mentioned this before there are no handguns allowed in D.C. AT ALL .
The Gov't. that cannot keep it's own backyard clean has no business looking in my nightstand drawer .

Yup, Mayor Williams cited "The easy access to guns" as a factor in these shootings.
Never mind that handguns have been prohibited for nigh onto 20 years to the HONEST folks in DC.

Never mind the shooter is an " At Risk" kid whose father is a career criminal.

Never mind that the whole culture of violence that economically disadvantaged kids are exposed to from the cradle is perpetuated by the media for commercial reasons.

Never mind that the problem is kids growing up in fragmented households, the problem is ignorance, poverty and apathy.

Go ahead, blame the guns. But if guns are eliminated, what are we going to blame next for the failings of semi educated, warped humans who have a very different reality than the rest of us?

That explains the part I was having trouble with--why "gangers" were at a zoo, it didn't equate.

But, something I don't understand. They were rival school groups, who resorted to gunfire, but they're not gangers? Rival groups who seek to destroy each other are gangs, traditionally speaking.
Just more word manipulation games at work here.

The shooter was a 16 y.o dweeb named Antoine Jones (I think), and daddy is in Lorton doing big time.

Not clear if others were also shooting, but he's the one they caught, and based on his attendance record, it seems he's spent more time on the street than as a student. He is froma part of town that has plenty of gang activity, so one might pretty much assume he's more of a 'banger than a school boy.

Though what the kid did was heinous and he should pay dearly (as should the person he got the gun from), his act was no where near a disgusting as Algore, Bubba and the Mare's pandering to the PC scardycats.
