Got the call in today , not sure of instructions but with some trial and error I am makeing the local domestic dogs go nuts.
I am waiting to get it in the field now.
I am new to hunting "yotes" but at least I can compare my hand held with the sounds the electronic make.
This website has tons of tips, as do many of us here if you get no response, post another question. Number one, Don't get discouraged, it takes some time to get it down.
I had an electronic call years back and I think it was Burnam Brothers. We had raccoons getting into every thing so I set up out back with the shotgun. I had the truck close and my wife had the spotlight ready. The tape was coons fighting or having sex or something. The cops showed up. Some new city people moved in a house above us in the woods and called the cops. They told the cops it sounded like I was beating the hell out of my wife and hurry up before it was too late. We knew the cop and we all (The cop and us) got a good laugh out of it. Moral of that story is: Be careful where you use it.
Thanks for the warning. I live in AZ and will be in open land either BLM or a couple of guys I know have cattle ranches.
The big reason I got the call is to make sure what I do with the mouth call sounds real. I do need some practice.
