Gallery guns?

Does anyone have a Gallery Gun? I recently saw a Remington 550-2G Gallery Gun. It had right on it "22 Shorts ONLY" and there was a deflector over the ejection port attached by a single screw to direct spent brass downward. It was in like new condition by the looks of it, though I did not bore scope it.

Would this one be worth getting, more as a neat oddity than anything? I have other 22LR guns that will also shoot shorts if noise were an issue. What would a decent price be for something like this?
 
Around here the asking price seems to be between $300-400.00(gun show last month) haven't seen one sell so can't say what there selling for.
 
Looks like the going rate for Remington 550s is $150 for pretty well used and $250 for 90% examples. Did not find any recent sales of -2G models. Don't think I'd pay extra for a "Shorts Only" model since the -1s will run just fine with standard velocity which is lots cheaper to shoot.
