Galil 5.45x39?

Does this exist? I know they come in. 223. I think the rifle looks awesome, and if they had it in 5.45, I would be tempted.
Can any anybody speak for this rifle in general?

I kind of doubt it... it was made to be Israels response to the AK in a NATO round.

the galil is sometimes refereed to as the anti AK. it takes the AK platform, maes it a little more ambidextrous, a little more comfortable and makes it NATO compatible. it keeps all the AK advantages over the M16 and removes a lot of the weaknesses. you will never find a galil in 5.45 but that doesn't mean you cant finagle a somewhat decent copycat.

galil style furniture for AKs are fairly common and if you know anyone that's good with a welder, some companies make kits to give your AK a vertical charging handle. slap those on an AK74 and you'd have a 5.45 galil copycat.

actually the 5.45x39 was discontinued, not that I see much relevance to this discussion anyway

There was a galil being made by a company in texas in 7.62x39 and also 5.45 i'm not sure what the company is but a google search would find it
