I've been trying to carry above gun outside holster, With summer it just prints to much. How much will IWB help with printing for this gun? Is a big double clip IWB like galco worth it or is a single clip smaller IWB better? Tell me what you use and why! I'm in Texas it's hottttt here!

I do not know/did know they made king tuks for M&P compact. I got one for Glock. LOVE IT! it's almost invisible. When you bend over it prints. But why bend over? 5/5 stars I rate it.

I've carried a S&W M&P40 full-size in an IWB before with little issue on printing. Here in NY it has to be completely invisible, i.e. no print, and I've had full confidence with it. However, over the summer I usually switch to a 3" 1911 with a compact grip.

With an IWB, the big concern is the grip, and I find something with an "FBI-cant" to it usually makes it easier. I can't speak on the King-Tuks, but try the Galco 'Summer Comfort', I used it for my M&P and had no issue covering it up with a light button-up and jeans. I've also never used one, but heard good things about the Cross-Breed holsters, which I think the King-Tuk is modeled after anyway.

Also, if you've never used an IWB before, you may need to modify your attire slightly to accomodate it. If you wear tight jeans and tight belts, might need to get a couple new pairs to handle sticking a gun in there, lol.

I've got the Galco Kingtuk for my J frame .357 and it's great. I picked one up for $50 at Cabela's. It can get a little sweaty though in the summer if you were it for very long.

For my M&P 9c, I've got the Crossbreed Supertuck ... CB is a great holster. Go with the horsehide because it's better for sweaty hot places.

Another IWB holster I got for $50 delivered is the Kholster. So far, it works fantastics for my Kahr CW9.

The horsehide on the CB (or any holster) is the way to go for IWB in my opinion, especially if you live in a hot place (I'm in Phoenix).

Good luck on your decision.

Does the bigger, wider holsters like the supertuk and kingtuk make the gun more comfortable...by distributing the weight better or are the smaller single point holsters like Galco Triton Kydex IWB Holster just as good and comfortable?

I am wearing my king tuk as I am speaking to you. I am carrying a G26 today around the house. Feels good.

I'm in Arkansas. Not as hot as TX or AZ, but still pretty hot (high of 98* forecast for today), and humid to boot.

Tommy Theis sells a horsehide IWB for $60. IIRC, I ordered mine on a Tuesday and had it in hand by Thursday. It's a great holster and Tommy's a great guy to deal with. http://theisholsters.com/

Short answer "Yes."

The belt clips are wider and makes it harder than a single clip holster to pull your pants down; the weight is spread. But some people don't mind this so you might have to try for yourself. Of course, this is how people end up with several different holsters ... they see how things work for them and their gun.

Good luck!!

I went to Cabela's looking for something else and just happened to stumble upon it for my J frame. You can always order direction from their site for $60. Interestingly, the right-handed version is back ordered and the left-handed version is 5 weeks.
