Galco, Bianchi, or Desantis?

Got to get a leather holster for my Smith and Wesson 686+ 4" barrel revolver and can't make up my mind which of these manufacturers to go with. Any opinions? I am leaning towards a thumb break type holster. I've got some discounts coming from Midway so I am looking to make a purchase from them. Thanks!

Better forget Bianchi, it was bought by ..

Safariland and is slowly being withdrawn from the market.

Good luck on the search.

Out of those three, and I own holsters from each, I think Galco and Bianchi are made a little more robust than DeSantis. Galco and Bianchi are pretty much a toss up.

Since it's a 4" gun I assume you wan't it to look nice on your hip. Of those mentioned Galco makes the nicest leather.

The Phoenix by Galco is top notch.

Agreed. I usually end up going with Galco. For some reason I can always find Galco lefty models at my LGS but not much Bianchi.

You could also spend around the same money and have this guy make you exactly what you want...

His quick, makes a quality product and is very reasonably priced.

I have the same gun and I use a Galco® FLETCH High Ride Belt holster #FL104B; see here.........

Badge851, I'm leaning towards the same

I like the Galco Fletch holster also, just in tan or brown. It seems to do what I want. I have a fletch style holster for my Stoeger Cougar and it works good. Nice pic of your Smith in the holster.
