G36-I do not know what this means, but...

My local gun store offered me the chance to buy one of the two G36's he will be allocated. Said the distributor was requesting the company to send his two allocated direct from the factory. Had it in writting and everything. Can they be far behind? The urban legend continues.

Glock called us and told us we were 'allocated' two, and gave us a list of 'suggested distributors' to call. We did so. Now if they can just assure us they won't be back ordered...

G36 is the much anticipated Glock single-stack compact .45ACP. Much like a G30, but thinner.

It will be waaaaaaaay overpriced when released due to the hype and anticipation. From what I have heard, it is not much slimmer than a G30.

Seems Glocks are getting harder for dealers to get lately. My favorite shop had to become a Glock dealer to get any at all. Had real problems getting .40 S&W Glocks till then.

Hope Glock comes out with a single stack real thin small 9mm - but I doubt it. The way the gun laws are going, might be quite awhile if ever before Gaston introduces anything "politically incorrect" in the U.S.
