G26 grip extension

I just bought a grip extension for my G26 and I am having a heck of a time getting the old bottom of the mag. I know you are supposed to push the tab in the middle of the bottom of the mag down and slide the floorpalte off. but it is on like crazy glue.

Anybody got ny ideas or suggestions??
Anybody ever do this before??
 
sqeeze in on the sides of the mag while pushing the floorplate off. there are taps on the sides of the mag that must be pushed in to get the floorplate off .
 
The pointers that were given to you in the previous posts will help a bunch in taking it off. You will never really understand what they mean until you pop that first one off and say.."ohhh..that's what they meant!" It's kinda hard to picture what everyone is trying to say until you see the actual floorplate seperated from the magazine.

Still..even after that first one, it can still be a pain in the butt. Lucky you don't have to do this everyday!:D
