Lately my IDPA cohorts at www.azidpa.org have been accusing me of trading in my G21 for a
G18. During yesterday's shoot at Phoenix Rotten Gun Club (and a shoot about a month ago), while engaging a paper target for a double-tap, my Glock, well, the follow-up shot was impressively fast, and I doubt my trigger control had anything to do with it
Both times the auto-double-taps resulted in a 5-ring shot to the chest and a head shot (lucky me).
I was shooting reloads which I found in the back of my closet which were part of my first
couple of batches a few years ago. Maybe the primers were not seated? The loads were 7.2
grains of H. Universal and 185 grains. Winchester primers, as I recall. Once-shot brass.
Or maybe, must maybe, I have randomly acquired a super-human ability to reset and squeeze that 3.5 pound connector (8 pound return spring) and reset just enough to allow the gun to fire really, really quick, not unlike the bikinied-babes with high-heels I've seen at the gunshow "Hellfire Trigger" video.
