Mr Williamson was born in Birkenhead, England in 1967. As an immigrant,
he is very proud of his naturalized American citizenship, and has served
in the US Air Force and US Army, active and reserve, for 15 years. He
was awarded the Humanitarian Service Medal for the 1993 Mississippi
Flood, the Air Force Achievement Medal for athletic competition, and
served briefly in Kuwait in 1999.
He is married to wife of 10 years Gail, with one daughter Morrigan, and
another child due in January 2001. He and Gail own Cloak & Dagger, a
cutlery store in Greenwood Park Mall.
Mr. Williamson is a strong supporter of the Bill of Rights, especially
the First, Second and Fifth Amendments. He is a regular contributor to
several magazines and websites on the issue of personal freedom and
privacy. He supports eliminating the state property tax, that unfairly
affects poor Indiana families, and eliminating the Business Inventory
Tax, that inhibits business development and employment in Indiana.
He welcomes any questions at the above contacts, and gives straight,
honest answers, even if those answers are not what the constituent wants
to hear.
