Further Hypocrisy from the elite

While reading the local paper in the lunchroom at work the other day, I came across an article detailing a study from a Harvard anti-smoking group, which was blasting Hollywood for showing smoking in the movies.

It listed a number of statistics all aimed at reinforcing their position on how smoking in the movies influences children to smoke. It even went so far as to give numbers of (cancer) deaths that would occur due to children taking up smoking because of Hollywood portrayals of characters smoking.

After some refection, it occurred to me just how hypocritical it is for anyone to seriously attack Hollywood (and they did sound serious) about the"damage" they are doing to our nation's youth by glamorizing smoking, while dismissing any consideration of harm to the same youth by Hollywood's glamorization of gun violence.
