No offense intended! I'm a plastic gun owner (two Kel-Tecs, one S&W SW99) but I fully intend to purchase a Kimber just as soon as I get more money. It just struck me as funny when I logged on and saw "1911" under the number of registered users...sort of serendipitous!

As of this point (1927 members) we have passed the 1917 Browning watercooled machinegun, Colt and S&W, the '21 Thompson and have almost reached the '28 Thompson.

We are remiss for not noticing 1873 Colt, the various Winchesters, the Mausers (rifle and pistol) and the Lugers.

Oh well.

How about each of those registered members getting a "One of the original 1911" notation along with "Junior Member, "Member" or "Senior Member"? :-)
 
Not to rain on anyones parade but comming up in the "numbers" catagory is 1934... as in "GCA of". :(

Hopefully it doesn't LOCK at that number or we all my be in trouble.
