How many out there have carried glocks for a long period of time, then decide you would like to change to a 1911 for carry. So you start to carry the 1911 and you just keep going back to glock in other words you just can't help yourself? Were talking 45ACP here.
Thanks

I have a G30 which I love, but wanted a slimmer carry gun and a 4" 1911 fit the bill perfectly. The 1911 is my first love, the first gun I ever bought and I love the history associated with it. I really like the ergonomics of the 1911, it just feels right in my hand. This is not a knock on the Glock (is that a Dr. Seuss book? Knock on Glock?) I shoot the G30 probably better than any gun I own but when I started carrying the 1911 it was like getting back with my first girlfriend!

The G32/19 get's a fair amount of holster time, though I'm favoring the new 1911Sc commander at the moment.

How about, "I occasionally carry my Glock 22, but by far my full size 1911 sees much more action."

Yet another suggestion:

How about "I admit to quickly fondling a Glock in the gun shop which simply confirmed that no way would it ever replace the 1911 on my hip."

Nine years later, I still haven't gotten bit by the 1911 bug. I've shot plenty of 'em, but love my Glock for its rugged simplicity. If anything ever happens to it, it can be replaced without a pang with another one exactly like it ...

I had a similar problem a while back. I usually carried a glock 21C but i fell in love with the 1911 platform, But i also was a big glock fan. I just settled with buying a Colt commander and kept my glock for a house gun. Problem Solved...
