i dont need to buy another gun. my needs really are taken care of. you wont see that on here i know.

Is it best to get one multipurposed or just one to have?

Would you expect to play golf with just one club in the golf bag? You could make do with one, but it depends upon the purpose to which you wish to use it (snub nose for concealed carry, six inch for hunting, etc.). It is best to get many.
 
Were I to buy another gun w/out having a specific task in mind, I believe I'd buy a Hi Point - just because the owners of them speak so highly of them.

But - that's not a revolver so I guess it doesn't count ;)

Cuz I'm waiting for that day myself. I suspect it's going to be a while yet.
 
I am sure, and I mean dead-sure-certain, that I do not ever need to buy another handgun, ever.

I will of course, hopefully soon.
 
The handgun has been my lifelong study. I have fired every type of handgun available to me at the time, and built up somewhat of a collection, though I prefer to call it an accumulation.

I've bought smallbore .22 r.f. for squirrel and small game shooting, bigger calibers for deer and long shots at varmints. I've shot paper targets, game animals, sticks, twigs, car bodies, washing machines, TVs, computers, pocket calculators, fish and steel silhouette targets. And shot from five feet to beyond two hundred meters. Each gun I bought was an education and an experience.

Every gun I bought served its purpose.

I guess I don't understand the question, I always need another gun since every gun I own fills a specific need. Even if that need is just checking something off my want list. I buy what I like when the funds are available and the price is right, often those 2 requirements are not met at the same time so I walk away but if both are met I buy it.
