Fun day shooting ICORE Match

What a perfect day for shooting and ICORE match... you know, all revolver shooters.

Match was a little difficult with lots of movement and many props. The ones that bothered me most were shooting from windows that were a little too high for me to get the gun into while in the wheel chair.

Lots of paper and steel including Bianchi Plates, USPSA Poppers, Mini Poppers and static steel.

I've been working on my grip but it looks like I'm still putting my left hand too high. Trying not to put my thumb on the trigger guard but it's an old habit I need to break.

Hopefully by the next match I'll be able to stand and shoot. I'm going to make a big effort to walk and stand longer.

Thanks for the report.

If there's no club matches nearby, they wisely have a series of postal matches that anyone anywhere can do.

ICORE is a lot of fun and the participants tend to be more relaxed than some of the other high-energy shooting disciplines.
