Full or Half Shroud for Ruger gpf

I like the Ruger gpf 340 and 341 (4''barrell). The 340 has a half shroud
and the 341 the full. Is the added ounce of the full shroud something to
consider for a 357 and is there any reason to get the full shroud over
the half? personally I think the half shoud looks better.
 
Go with riverdog's suggestion. The full shroud does make a difference. All the extra weight helps since the barrel is not ported.
 
If you like the looks of the short shroud why not. Get what you like, that's what life is all about.
Besides if you are carrying it all day, you will appreciate the reduction in weight.
