Full House round question

How do I tell what are "Full House" loads when buying ammo?

I shoot 110's of different makers and can tell a difference in the recoil from one to the other...I shot some 158 JHP's and they recoiled less than the 110's  .....I shoot 38+P's just for the H*ll of it sometimes and they kick like the 110's...almost.
But I buy 125 gr Def JHP''s..HOLY CRAP! Thats more like it....:D :D :D
I really dont know if I want to shoot 158 FH rounds thru the snubby to often but would like to know they are out there.

How do you tell they are full house? They are all marked the same as I can see.

Shoot well

Search the manufacturer's websites

or their catalogs at your stocking gun dealer. You will find their published velocities in every bullet weight, albeit through a test-barrel. IOW, real guns are rarely used. That will give a starting point for comparison.

Remember, the lighter the bullet, the faster it can be driven. This seems strange, but most 158gr. .357 recoils less than typical 125gr loads, IMO. The latter loads by Federal and Remington are true barn-burners, at least by today's conservative standards.;)

Snubbie right?
(oops,,went back and reread and saw that it was)
Try to borrow a 4" or 6" barreled revolver and see if the 158's feel more like the real thing.
