Full auto on a budget--less than $2000-??

First off,let me say that other than an M60 or M16 ive never fired anything that is capable of full auto.Im very seriously considering getting something for occasional use and as an investment as they appear to be steadily going up in value.Knowing what to look for is a complete mystery to me.Ive seen 8mm mauser capable guns and these are very appealing to me.Below are some guns that ive seen at the subguns site that APPEAR to be available for less than $2000.00 Can someone please enlighten me as to the good and bad in these choices.Remember,what I know about these guns could fit in a thimble.

2.SWD M11/9
3.MG34
4.ZB26
5.H&R Reising M50
The ZB26 looks REAL cool but I havent seen many available.Are all of these guns going to be a nightmare as far as spare parts go.I'm no gunsmith and envision any full auto gun as requiring 25 hours of maintenance for every 1000 rounds fired.What about spare barrels?

Those are very underpriced at $2000 unless they are post-sample LE only guns.

Unless you are a FFL and Class 2 or 3 Special Occupational Taxpayer the guns you want to look for are 'transferable', or on Form 3 or Form 4. It should say that in the description, otherwise a private individual can not own that gun.

Even the cheap transferable guns like M11/9s are going for well over $2500 these days. I bought my NIB M10/9 for $2650 and that was a month ago. Now they are wanting up to $3200 for the same gun NIB. The next cheapest full-auto are the MK760s and Stens at around $3000-3500. Then you got H&R M50s, M2 Carbines and Sterlings around $4000-4500. Uzis range from $4000 well used to $7000 NIB. FNCs go for about $6500, $9000 for M16 conversions, $13000-15000 for AKs, MP5s, AUGs, and factory M16s. These are approx current prices but they'll be sure to go up. Especially the FNCs, they are cheap right now because of an influx of registered sears.

You might be able to find some used guns for substantially less, but even used M10s are going for over $2000. I finally decided to take the plunge for a MG because the prices kept going up. If I bought my M10 last year they were only $1500. Now they are going for $2500-3000.
 
Yep. "Dealer Samples" are what the dealer uses to demonstrate the gun for prospective buyers. The laws on manufacturing and selling machineguns changed in 1986. This created two classes of dealer samples, "pre-86" and "post-86" dealer samples. The pre-86 samples can still be transferred using the rules prior to '86, the others follow the new, more restrictive rules.
 
Spare Parts

I don't know about all of these guns, but I do know about the M/11 and the Reising. Both are a blast to shoot, but parts are easier to find for the Mac than for the Reising. You can still get Parts for the Reising at www.e-gunparts.com and springs from Wolffe. Mac parts are everywhere. Reising mags are hard to find and EXPENSIVE. Neither gun has required much more care than a semi. Good luck, don't let the prices scare you, I don't think you'll lose your money if you take care of the gun and keep it for a year or more. Just my opinion.
